The images of women loved by great musicians, who became immortal being captured in the composers' works, will be revealed by the magnificent Soprano Marina Zyatkova. The secret thoughts, desires and hopes of Aloysia Weber, Giulietta Guicciardi, Maddlena Fumaroli, Clara Wieck will be revealed through the lines of the letters addressed to these women. The soprano Marina Zyatkova will also present the images of the heroines in music. This evening will feature the most beautiful examples of chamber, operatic and instrumental music by Mozart, Beethoven and Bellini. At the piano will be the famous St. Petersburg pianist Stanislav Solovyov, laureate of Russian and international competitions.
In the second part of the evening, Schumann's compositions will be performed by the famous "St. Petersburg Trio" (composed of Maria Safaryants, violin; Sergei Slovachevsky, cello; laureate of international competitions Stanislav Solovyov, piano) with the participation of Andrei Dogadin, viola.
The musical evening will take place in the White Hall of the Sheremetev Palace, where balls, theatrical performances and symphonic meetings have been held since the 19th century, the choir of Count Sheremetev and the Great Russian Orchestra of Vasily Andreev have performed here.
However, Quarenghi's architectural masterpiece became the setting for another reason, related to the role of a woman in the life of an eminent man. The White Hall is associated with one of the most romantic love stories of the 19th century, in which the fate of Count Sheremetev's beloved was miraculously formed. This hall was created for the wedding celebration of the count with Praskovya Zhemchugova, a former serf actress, to whom the count gave freedom, and being captivated by her, he managed to obtain the right to marry. The witness at the wedding was the architect Giacomo Quarenghi, the creator of the White Hall.
