The famous Italian Soprano Barbara Frittoli, the favorite performer of Maestro Riccardo Muti, has won both the love of international audiences and the recognition of one of the greatest conductors of our time. The Prima Donna of the world opera stage, Barbara Frittoli, is recognized as one of the most prestigious "Verdi sopranos" and a brilliant interpreter of parts in Mozart's operas. She has sung leading roles in opera houses throughout Europe and in the United States, such as La Scala in Milan and the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Her signature roles include Mimì in La Bohème, the Countess in The Marriage of Figaro, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Desdemona in Otello.
The Conductor is Maestro Stefano Vignati, one of the most famous Italian conductors. The Maestro's skills and charm have made him one of the favorite musical figures of the leading Italian national television. Maestro Vignati has conducted prestigious orchestras in the USA, Italy, China, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Slovenia and Switzerland, and has collaborated with world-renowned artists such as: Lina Wertmüller, Michele Campanella, Mariella Devia, Bruno Pratico, Alfonso Antoniozzi, Pierre Amoyal, Nicola Ulivieri, Marco Vinco, Mirko Palazzi, Jesús León, Moni Ovadia, Janet Perry, Carol Neblett, Limmy Pulliam, Svetlana Vasileva, Leo Ahn and Alexander Malta.
The concert will be held in one of the most beautiful and majestic halls in St. Petersburg, the Marble Hall of the Ethnographic Museum. The main hall of one of the largest ethnographic museums in the world, stunning in its scale and unique interiors. The walls of the Marble Hall are made by the rare pink Karelian marble, while the ceiling is composed by crystal tiles.
