Maria Luisa Macellaro la Franca is an Internationally acclaimed Pianist and Orchestra Director.

She is considered one of the most promising and talented female conductors and pianists of the new generation. As a composer, Maria Luisa Macellaro La Franca has received several awards: for the Cantata for the Death of Falcone and Borsellino, she received the "Envie d'Agir" Prize for the best musical creation in 2009, LABEL IDDAC 2009 for the best French theatre opera 2009 and she was then named Ambassador of World Culture 2012 for Italy.

With a repertoire without artistic limits! Winner of countless prizes in national and international piano competitions (Osimo Coppa Pianisti d'Italia 1996, IBLA Grand Prix 2000 New York, Elsy Mayer Stiftung Zurich 2003), she embarked on a very young career that led her to perform in various countries and theaters such as Teatro Politeama in Palermo, the Bordeaux Opera, the MAM Museum and the Institute of Italian Culture in Rio de Janeiro, Berlin Synagogue and Dusserldorf Conservatory Hall, Los Andes Mendoza Auditorium, Banco Hipotecario Lujan Hall in Argentina, Grosser Saal Zurich, Boccadoro Theatre in Lugano, Collado Villalba Cultural Centre in Madrid, Osaka Grand Theatre in Japan, Presidential Hall in Ankara (Turkey).

For the composition "Emes Symphonie" she received the Gironde General Council Prize, IHRO2013 Human Rights Ambassador, Women's Rights Ambassador in Music 2014, the International Commission on Human Rights, IGO as Goodwill Ambassador for Peace and the ART Solunto Festival 2016.
Since September 2015, Maria Luisa has been principal conductor of the Orchestre Atelier UNISSON ACME in Bordeaux.

Her original lyrical works are regularly performed in French and Italian theaters (Casino Bordeaux, Théâtre Jean Vilar Eysines, Bellegrave Pessac, Golden Palermo) and her chamber music pieces are performed by great French personalities: his latest piece for cello "Sharade" was recorded, toured the world by the great French cellist Etienne Peclart and recorded with the Triton label. On March 8, 2020, she made her debut at the head of the RAI Scarlatti Philharmonic Orchestra in Naples, then she went on tour in Romania as a conductor with different Romanian orchestras (Pitesti, Dinu Li Patti, Moldavian Philharmonic Orchestras etc). Maria Luisa also collaborated as conductor with the VENICE Biennale in 2022 and with Italian cinema, notably to compose the music for a film on the anti-mafia.

The "Social distancing" concept became central in all personal relationships, including close family relationships! Many persons they just take this situation to change their life into something more essential and spiritual. I myself got divorced and changed my way to compose, from very complicated Harmonys, I went to Very romantic and easy music! This recitals is speaking to all human being, is speaking about Peace, Love, fraternity .. Is made about 10 pieces in a tonal / neoclassic style.
