Philippe Garcia is an agitator who likes to muddy the waters, playing music like a funny child, "says his old companion Erik Truffaz. A mutant of drums, an inspired avant-garde, who has today become an emblematic figure of creative experimentation, which has always used the pure jazz tradition to move towards hybridizations that he masters as a wizard.
It must be said that for more than twenty years, “Pipon” by his nickname has been at the forefront of many projects which have given him a certain status, not to say a certain stature.
After spending many years in Turkey, this classically trained extraordinary musician turned to jazz upon his return, alongside Don Cherry and then Barre Phillips.
Cast: Philippe Garcia (Drums), Tibo Soulas (Double bass), Sir Jean (Voice)
