You probably already know They Call Me Rico, the one-man band project of Quebecer Frédéric Pellerin, winner of the Challenge Blues Français in Cahors in 2015 (solo/duo category).
In recent years, he has graced the stages of major festivals such as Jazz à Vienne, Cahors Blues Festival, Blues sur Seine, Cognac Blues Passions and the Montreal International Jazz Festival.
With more than one string to his bow, and loving to create new projects and take on new challenges, Frédéric Pellerin aka Rico now presents his new project: Rico & The Escape.
It is in full formation that Rico and his escapees will be traveling the roads this year. Rico will be accompanied by Jean Joly on bass and Josselin Soutrenon on drums!
On the menu, new material, Rico's songs but even more, forays into the material of his first group, Madcaps, as well as some reinterpretations of little-known gems, all revamped in the Rico way.
