She is from Ireland and is the most exciting female artist of recent years! His love for traditional country comes from the greats, but Nyamh Lynn injects a bit of modernity into it, just for the fun of it. She was crowned Best Country Singer in Ireland in 2016, and her debut EP was ranked No.1 on the Irish iTunes Country Chart.
She is a Dublin-based singer and songwriter. The singer has suddenly risen to prominence as Ireland’s “Queen of Country Music.” Though she is originally from Dublin’s Castleknock, now she calls herself County Cavan home. Niamh loves old-fashioned country music, which she learned while listening to legends like Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Billy Joe Spears, and Tammy Wynette. This led to her taking the main role in the internationally touring musical Stand By Your Man, The Tammy Wynette Story. Host Ryan Tubridy characterized Nyamh as “what Imelda May is to Rockabilly” following her recent appearance on the internationally recognized TV show. Nyamh was also starred in the show “ladies of Country”, whose sequel will surface in 2022.
