Charles Dutoit and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra celebrated the inaugural concert of the Paul & Henry Carnal Hall at the Rosey in Rolle. Located on the campus of the prestigious school, this futuristic building was designed by the famous architect Bernard Tschumi. On the program: Weber, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky.
The brand new Rosey Concert Hall is a 900-seat venue that can host concerts, plays, musicals, operas, conferences and a wide range of cultural events. This space dedicated to culture is located in the center of Paul & Henri Carnal Hall, a visionary and innovative building on the Rosey campus, where students can enjoy professional-level art and music rooms, as well as a Learning Centre.
Under the baton of the Vaudois conductor, Charles Dutoit, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performed works by Weber (Euryanthe overture), Beethoven (Piano Concerto No. 1) and Tchaikovsky (Symphony No. 5).
